Sydney, Australia
One of a kind, made by nature

Our Story
A conviction about what a watch should carry.
Rook was born in Sydney with a simple conviction: a watch should carry something real. Not a render. Not a pattern. A piece of the actual earth.
We started Rook because we wanted an automatic watch with genuine character — a dial that could not be replicated by a machine, or repeated in a factory. Natural stone gave us that. Every grain, every vein, every subtle shift in colour is laid down over millions of years. No two dials come out the same.
Each watch is assembled to a specification that goes well beyond the price point. Japanese automatic movement, sapphire crystal, exhibition caseback, 50 m water resistance. Italian leather strap with quick-release bars. Built to last a lifetime and hand it down.

Natural Stone
No two are alike.
Every dial is cut from a single slab of stone. The grain, veining, and colour vary from piece to piece — what you receive will be unique to yours.

The Rook Automatic
White Jade
Cut from a single piece of jade and polished flat. The surface has a faint translucency that shifts throughout the day — no two faces are the same.
$600 AUD

The Rook Automatic
Emerald Marble
Dark green marble with white veining through it. Each dial is cut to show a different cross-section of the stone. In low light it reads almost black.
$600 AUD

The Rook Automatic
Rust Marble
A warm sienna marble with depth that changes depending on the light. The stone varies from piece to piece — colour, grain, and the way the veining runs.
$600 AUD

The Rook Automatic
Black Agate
Dense, obsidian black with a surface that absorbs light rather than reflecting it. The grain is only visible up close — a dial that rewards attention.
$600 AUD

The Movement
Built to run for a century
Every Rook is powered by the Miyota 8215 - a proven Japanese automatic movement trusted by independent watchmakers worldwide. The exhibition caseback lets you watch it work.
